Presentation by Data School visiting scholar Bennet Etsiwah: Understanding data culture

About the presentation:
In this presentation I will introduce you to my perspective on organizational data cultures. The presentation will include initial insights from my dissertation and take us into the depth of organization theory. Based on the presentation I’d like us to discuss the interplay of data cultures and data literacy as well as transdisciplinary research designs.

About Bennet Etsiwah:
I am a doctoral researcher at the UdK Berlin in the joint research project Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society. As a member of the research group “Data-Driven Business Model Innovations” I focus on the investigation of organisational data cultures. I have an interdisciplinary background that combines sociological, cultural and economic aspects as well as design thinking. Throughout the last years I have been involved in the development of several formats for interdisciplinarity and transfer such as the HyperCube and a podcast series.
