Data School turns 10!

Last week, our anniversary celebration took place: a big party to which all friends of Data School, former employees, trainees, alumni and, of course, the current team were invited.

Co-founder of Data School, Thomas Boeschoten, told how it had all started. Mirko Tobias Schäfer was interviewed about how things are going now. And we looked ahead together, to the next 10 years. Thanks to Hugo Quené of the Centre for Digital Humanities – Utrecht University who surprised us with a nice speech.

Organising the anniversary was a team effort, but especially colleague Sahra Mohamed put a lot of energy into it together with me. She looks happily into the camera in the photo below (as do I).
