Workshop Natural Language Processing

The workshop is full! It is possible to e-mail dataschool@uu.nl to get on the list for when a participant is not able to come anymore.

Wednesday the 17th of June Data School organizes a workshop Natural Language Processing. We are very pleased that the workshop will be hosted by Swen Mulderij, an expert in data-analysis and the founder of BIGear and Mindmingle. The workshop focuses on text classification and data retrieval. The world is developing in a direction where the use of data becomes more and more important. That’s why knowledge of programming is very useful and this workshop can be an addition to your CV!

Prior knowledge of Python is an advantage and could be obtained optionally with the use of codeacademy (http://www.codecademy.com/en/tracks/python). Warning: basic knowledge of Python on data structures and functions (not classes) is needed to be able to participate in the workshop.

When: Wednesday the 17th of June, from 10.00 – 17.00h
Where: The location has yet to be announced, but it will be somewhere at the University of Utrecht.

The costs for the workshop are €90 for non-students and only €15 (!) for students. You can apply for the workshop NLP by sending an e-mail to dataschool@uu.nl, also mention whether you are a student or not. Please apply as soon as possible, the deadline is Friday the 12th of June.

We’d like to see you the 17th of June!
