The Data School places master course students as Embedded Research Assistants for carrying out an applied research project. The Embedded Research Assistants are selected concerning their individual qualities and the skills needed for the assignment. During the project, senior staff at Data School supervises and tutors the student and provides assistance or even additional training. The duration of an embedded research project can vary from three to five months. It provides students with unique insight into the demands of organisations and the opportunity to test their proficiency in a work environment. Organisations create valuable learning opportunities for students while meeting potential future employees. The projects are always individually tailored to the research question.
